Vision
The referee has to be independent.
A lab can’t credibly referee its own agents, and no cloud governs its rivals’ agents deeply. So what records, judges and stops agents has to stand apart from all of them. That’s Wake.
What it costs
- $4.99M
The average breach in IBM's 2026 study. Attacks that AI drove cost about $1M more than those it didn't. IBM, via Help Net Security

What Wake changes
Each of those turns on three questions: what led to it, can you stop it, and can you prove it. Wake answers with a record signed outside every agent’s reach, a halt that checks every path it stops instead of assuming, and an evidence pack mapped to OWASP’s agentic risks and EU AI Act Articles 12, 14 and 15.
The name
A ship’s wake is the trail it leaves behind. That’s what Wake records: the path every agent took and everything it disturbed. Being awake is the other half, the vigilance. Every agent leaves a wake.
Principles
Out of band, always.
Agents never hold the keys to their own record or brake.
Recording never blocks.
If the recorder is down, your agents keep working.
The brake fails closed.
A lever it can't confirm stays live until it can.
Orchestrate, don't replace.
Wake pulls the levers your providers already expose.
